How much does it cost to become a member of the Pacific Northwest Chapter?
Regular Membership for persons aged 16 and older is $35
Additional family members at the same mailing address are $5 each.
Expiration Date/Time of Year:
All memberships end at the end of the calendar year (December 31st). This means there is no question about when membership for a particular year is over, and when a new year starts. It also means all membership renewal notices are mailed at the same time.
From September 1 to December 31, new members can join and their full membership fee covers the remainder of the current calendar year and also the next calendar year.
Changes to NRHS Dues
Why Pacific NW Chapter (PNWC) dues are handled independently from the National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) dues;
Starting in 2015, NRHS changed the relationship with its chapters and no longer plays a role in the renewal process for each chapter’s membership. As a non-profit entity separate from the NRHS, the PNWC now processes membership dues only for itself. Membership in the NRHS is handled by that organization. See https://nrhs.com/membership/renew/ for more information.
